  Once you are happy with the fit (or can't breathe; which is just about right - remember this will stretch with wear.) untack and lay out the pieces on your top layer/wool.

Why not fold the back in half? Because each seam may be slightly different. People usually have one shoulder higher than the other.

And cut out. Do the same for your lining/linen.
  Once you have cut out your wool pieces:
Tack the foundation layer to the wrong side of each wool piece along the edge of the canvas. This will ancor the wool and prevent it from strecting or "floating".
  Putting it all together:
Sew the side and shoulder seams together for the two layers layer; foundation/wool and linen.

Press open you seams.


Carefully look at the picture above:
Place the RIGHT sides of your wool and linen together. Linen on top.

Place the foundation layer ON TOP here it is facing OUT, but Rosemary prefers it if the cavans faces IN.

Pin together.
